The International Geodetic Student Meeting (IGSM) is an annual event held for students in the field of geodesy, surveying, cartography, geomatics and geoinformatics. Having participated these meetings for a while I was part of the team organizing this event in 2009 at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. Targeted at an international audience the event needed a a website which would serve as a communication platform ahead of the meeting.
